Making art has been a common thread running through my life. In school, I always had an art class or two going alongside the math and science. Over the years, I’ve dabbled in many things: crocheting, cake decorating, painting, soap making, sewing, woodworking, weaving, calligraphy, paper quilling, darkroom photography — you name it, I’ve probably done it.

Recently, I decided to pursue my art more seriously and nurture a fuller expression of my creativity. It’s been an exciting path full of adventures and I’ve gotten to meet many other wonderful artists and makers.

I’m always running down new creative ideas but my current focus is developing my pottery practice. Creating functional works of art in the form of bowls and other daily life implements is so deeply satisfying to my spirit and soul. 😌
